Etai Mizrav, PhD, is a distinguished researcher and consultant with a focus on educational policy and inequality. He offers a variety of services including conducting both qualitative and quantitative policy research, giving assistance to states and districts in alleviating educator shortages, and carrying out equity audits for states and districts.

Dr. Mizrav utilizes the "Components Approach" to support effective policy-making. His substantial experience in developing policies, implementing programs that boost educational equity, conducting equity reviews for large districts nationwide, and creating tools to identify equity gaps underscores his impressive track record.

In addition to addressing educator shortages and diversifying the teacher workforce, Dr. Mizrav has collaborated with numerous states and districts, domestically and internationally. His contributions in this field are widely recognized and have been presented at national forums.

His research at AIR explored 21st-century drivers of educational inequality and discriminatory educational policies and practices. This groundbreaking work earned him admission to the prestigious Edward A. Bouchet Graduate Honor Society, further demonstrating his commitment to promoting diversity and excellence in doctoral education.

Dr. Mizrav previously served as the manager of education policy and equity for the Washington, DC, Office of the State Superintendent of Education and as a Senior Researcher at the American Institutes for Research (AIR). He also contributed his expertise as a professor at the McCourt School, teaching a class on the drivers of educational inequality, and a thesis workshop.

Holding a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree from Georgetown University and a PhD in education from George Washington University, Dr. Mizrav has cemented his authority in the field of educational policy and inequality.
